Remembering Archpriest George DeTrana

Fr. George DeTrana, who departed this life on Holy Pascha 2004, is the founding priest of our mission. His years of diligent and faithful service laid the foundation for us. As we pass the fourtieth year since our founding, and the tenth year of his falling asleep, we ask God to bless us and the work we continue as faithful recipients of the seeds sown by Fr. George. We also ask God to keep the Archpriest George in His Eternal Memory, and in the blessed repose that awaits the Resurrection of the dead.

Consecration of the Church

August 26/27, 2016

The permanent Altar will be Consecrated on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at 9:00am, with Vespers served Friday evening at 7:00pm.  A reception will follow Vespers Friday evening, and lunch will follow the Divine Liturgy on Saturday.  This is a very meaningful event in the life of a Mission or Parish. It only happens once unless some catastrophic event takes place.  Guests are welcome!
