Pentecost Picnic & Kneeling Vespers 2008
On Pentecost Sunday we held our traditional picnic at the Huguenot Springs Road property. We certainly enjoyed this time of fellowship. Some clouds rolled in toward the end of our day, and although our building is not quite ready for occupancy, we came in out of the rain and held our Kneeling Vespers for Pentecost inside our new temple.

Blessing of Animals at Willow Springs - 03/30/08
One of our parish members asked Fr. David to bless her pony and from this simple request blossomed a wonderful (although a bit chilly) community event at the Willow Springs stables. A few of our parish families, along with many folks connected to the stables came out on a wet, rainy Sunday afternoon and witnessed the blessing of the Willow Springs stables, horses, donkey, pig, cats and dogs. A very enjoyable time was had by all and in the refreshment time that followed we were able to share a little bit about our church with the other guests. We even met some Orthodox folks from the local Armenian parish. Glory to God for all things!
